Genevra Richardson is the President of GovGroup. She has over fifteen years of experience in politics and was voted this year’s “Best Female Lobbyist” in the Under 40 Category by the Arizona Capitol Times Best of the Capitol.
Prior to forming GovGroup, Genevra was VP of Government Relations at ZWPA Strategies. In addition, Genevra worked at another lobbying firm in Phoenix and for Greenberg Research in Washington D.C. Genevra has worked to develop public policy issues for her clients in the areas of issues ranging from health care to economic development.
Genevra serves as Chair-Elect of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Board of Directors. Genevra received a Master of Arts from the Graduate School of Political Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
Jeremy has over six years of experience at the Arizona State Legislature and was nominated in 2013 and 2014 for “Best Male Lobbyist Under 40” by the Arizona Capitol Times Best of the Capitol. Jeremy provides support for the Government Relations team and represents the firm’s clients at the Arizona Legislature. Jeremy’s responsibilities include legislative tracking, lobbying, and on-the-ground information gathering and analysis, among others.
Jeremy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Minor in History. While at ASU Jeremy was a Capitol Scholar, where he was invited to intern in Washington DC at the House of Representatives for an Ohio Congressman, and was President of the ASU Political Science honor society. Jeremy was appointed to the Tempe Transportation Commission in 2014, where he provides input on various transportation projects in Tempe. In his spare time Jeremy enjoys traveling, hiking and following Arizona’s football teams.
